This morning I paid a visit to a large Cotswold estate to carry on with an Orchid survey I started a few weeks ago, its still a bit early for many orchids but I just wanted to see how things were developing. There were signs of Common Spotted and Bee Orchids but no flower spikes yet, however the Common Twayblades are starting to open nicely.
